Bell Buckle Records recording artists Dewey and Leslie Brown with The Carolina Gentlemen release their sophomore album, "Jealousy," after much success with their debut project "Under the Mountain". Dewey and Leslie are from Burlington, NC, and have toured around the globe sharing their unique, soulful mountain sound which delivers a ton of pure mountain energy to audiences at festivals and theaters. Dewey is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer who played fiddle for several years behind the legendary Doctor Ralph Stanley. Leslie Brown is also a songwriter, producer, and bassist with her own writing style and unique, authentic way of delivering a song. Their songwriting is raw, honest, and based on their rural life experiences and family stories.
This new album "Jealousy" crosses the lines from traditional Bluegrass to Americana radio with arrangements that are detailed and precise, offering various textures which will take you through their stories from the mountains. The project features their band, The Carolina Gentlemen, throughout the album as well as special guest artists singing harmony: Donna Ulisse and Valerie Smith on "Maybe I'm Crazy". This chart-topping duo's latest recording powerfully delivers their songs from the microphones straight to our ears. The release of "Jealousy" is expected to hit all streaming services and store outlets on July 30, 2021.
